Sometimes the summer conditions can’t allow you to enjoy a hot cup of joe. That’s why most coffee lovers turn to iced coffee — hot brewed coffee served over iced.

While some coffee lovers will opt to get their iced cup of joe from the nearest coffee shop, you can still prepare it at home. This way you get to save some bucks and have your treat brewed just the way you want.

But do you really need ice to make iced coffee

You don’t!

If this is what’s stopping you from making iced coffee at home, here’s a walkthrough on how to get it done.

How do you make iced coffee without ice?

Here’s a step-by-step guide to making iced coffee without ice.

  1. Place two teaspoons of coffee into a glass and add a teaspoon of sugar.
  2. Fill the glass half full with boiled water to melt the coffee crystals and sugar.
  3. Stir up the mixture to melt everything.
  4. Add cold water and chilled milk to the coffee concentrate and blend until frost.
  5. Transfer your iced coffee into a serving glass and serve it as soon as you remove the lid.

How To Make Instant Iced Coffee Without Ice

Do you want to make iced coffee instantly but don’t have ice? You don’t need an ice maker to make iced coffee instantly. We got you covered in a few steps below;

  1. Place two rounded teaspoons of coffee into a glass. You can choose whichever brand you like for your coffee. Also, you can choose to add only one rounded teaspoon of coffee (we use two for a much stronger coffee).
  2. Add the sweetener of your choice. You can use regular sugar, honey, or coconut sugar.
  3. Boil some water in a kettle to melt down the sugar and crystals. The water doesn’t need to be too hot. As long as it has enough heat to boil everything, you’re good to go.
  4. Get your cold water, whether from a filter system or bottled — whatever you use in your household. This happens while the water is boiling in the kettle.
  5. Once your water catches heat, pour some amount into the glass containing the coffee mixture — about two ounces, just enough to melt everything.
  6. Stir up the mixture using a spoon and ensure everything has melted. You’re generally making a coffee concentrate.
  7. Add your cold water to the coffee concentrate. If you like your coffee darker, fill the glass about ¾ with your cold water. However, if you like milk heavy, use half water and half milk.
  8. Add some milk to the glass and stir well.

And there you have your iced coffee in a flash without ice.
